This sounds a little nerve-wracking - so happy it worked out! The sites reminded me of Rocky Mt National Park in CO that I saw the last day the road was open in late October long ago. There is something so innately thrilling about jagged snow-capped mountains and mountain lakes and fun birds!

FYI - the humidity has broken. It is 70 and beautiful at last! Might be safe to come home in a week or so. :)
