I wonder if anyone has confronted him about his early role in creating the current climate of Republican impunity? Or does he now get a free pass on that? 'Cause he can say this is a bad idea, and I agree, but as far as I am concerned his hands are not clean.
Conspiracy theory of the day: the Democrats will vote for the bailout, the Republicans will vote against it on the grounds of "fiscal responsibility", and then McCain will use the bailout to paint Obama the Democrats as lackeys of Wall Street.
