I wanted to make something special for Father's Day and Jason likes mussels, so I decided to try ( #61 Steamed Mussels )

And for dessert we had Jason's favorite, strawberry shortcake, made with local berries. I even made the sacrifice of serving it over biscuits, instead of the cake I prefer. Alice helped me whip the cream and then did a happy little dance every time she popped a strawberry in her mouth.
