vocalists and musicians for our September show at Somerville Theatre!

Ever wanted to be a princess?

Ever wanted to battle dragons?

Ever wanted to perform on the main stage at Somerville Theatre?

Then Never After is the show for you!

Never After is an original musical comedy screenplay by local writer/composer Colleen Campbell. We will be presenting it in concert form, with minimal staging.

Never After is the story of Princess Lesley Ann, destined by a conniving fairy to be a lesbian. Ill-suited to her role as a fairytale princess, Les leaves the kingdom of Generica to search for adventure. Along the way, she makes friends in unlikely places, fights
dragons, finds her true love, and discovers her own indomitable strength.

Are there auditions on Aug 5, or no? (Or is that call-back day?) Website lists only Aug 3 & 4.

There are vocal auditions on August 3 & 4, by appointment. Reading auditions on August 5th are by invitation, based on the vocal auditions. I wanted to mention the date so that people will know that's the date to keep free if they're interested in the major roles. We tried to spell it out clearly on the audition page, but maybe we need to re-think the wording.
