Thanks, but I'm pretty well stocked for reading material at the moment. I just thought it was worth noting that Chronicles was, IMO, a lot better.
I've an odd situation wrt a book at the moment - I need a long, interesting *compact* book - I'm heading out on a long hike and need to minimize weight and size, but would hate to finish my book along the way. On a previous hike, I brought and read most of the Illiad, which was wonderful (except that during the hike, I did serious damage to an Achilles Heel - gads - if I'd brought the Odyssey, I'm afraid that the hike would have taken 20 years!). Last time around, I took a book which I'd really like to read, but I just never got momentum going on it. So, what to bring? Oy, to have to choose a book based on size and weight!
