lillibetA Midsummer One Act Festival
Do you like the plays of David Ives?
Do you want to try your hand at directing?
Are you scared to direct a full-length show?
Have you directed before and want to do it again?
Theatre@First is looking for enthusiastic
individuals for our next project: A Festival of One Acts, featuring
the works of David Ives. Shows will be chosen from one of his
six-play collections and we need YOU to make them a success.
Performances will be the weekends of July 9th and 16th and the
rehearsal schedule can be modified to fit your needs.
These shows are low-tech but have many opportunities for creativity.
Ideally, each director will have a partner-in-crime to help out with
the behind-the-scenes shenanigans (set, costumes, props, etc) and
serve as a rehearsal stage manager for each show. Theatre@First can
help you recruit this expertise, but if you already have that special
someone, that's great too. If you want to BE that special someone,
let me know!
I really hope you will consider getting involved with T@F on the
directorial level. Your talents are much-needed and this project
promises to be low-key and lots of fun. (Actors, look for audition
information early next month...)
