Coming and going

Last night I ran into the friend I had talked to last weekend about getting together tonight. I said "You wanna see the Dolls tomorrow? I was thinking of picking up tickets." He said "Yeah, I was thinking about that. Call me before you buy them, though--I keep thinking there's someone else I said I would get together with." I said "Could it be me?" He looked confused and I said "That you were going to get together with--is it me?" He said "Yeah, yeah, that makes sense."

Running into myself in the back of someone's head is always an interesting experience.
