We just watched tonight's episode and the ending left me thinking...
If Irina and Ygor (or whatever his name was) were still married when she disappeared, then neither her marriage to Graham, nor any legal adoption papers (if there were any, it was never mentioned) are valid. So Graham has zero legal claim to Lily, in addition to having proven himself pretty dangerously unstable. Ygor, on the other hand, is facing a murder rap, though he seems the type to have pretty good lawyers, so who knows what happens there.
I have no conclusion (IANAL) but it seems to me that the upbeat ending and "you're gonna stay with Auntie Susan for a little while" line is extremely unlikely, at least without a drawn-out legal battle. And if Ygor's willing to fly around the world, murder his wife and kidnap his daughter in order to take her out of the country illegally, it seems unlikely he'd surrender Lily without that battle.
Thoughts? Anyone else overthinking this with me?
