Little Things

The stuff on the ground is really icky. It snowed a few inches and then turned to rain, which has saturated the snow. So when you step in what looks like snow, it's actually a ~4" deep puddle.
Dropped Jason off in Harvard Square to buy me pretty and interesting things, then hung out with a friend at a coffee house over in JP that has good deep, comfy chairs. Met back up with Jason, Tom & steve at the ART to see Snow in June. Y'know, I've never seen a bad *production* at the ART, but they sure pick some odd shows to do. This was a very stylized bluegrass version of a Chinese opera, in English, except for the last 15 minutes, which is in the original Chinese. It tells the story of a young woman, sold into servitude, married against her will, framed and executed for murder, who returns as a ghost to wreak her revenge. The revenge was in Chinese.
Afterwards we went over to Charlie's Kitchen to get food and diss the show, then drove the boys home and hung out for a while on the third floor and got some leftover chocolate for Jason. He drove us home through what had turned to rain and we were able to get into the driveway without shoveling. It's the little things that make a great day.
