If you watch TV and you haven't tried Numb3rs, check it out.

It stars Rob Morrow (Joel from Northern Exposure) and David Krumholtz (previously noted as the business geek in 10 Things I Hate About You and soon to be appearing in the Firefly movie, Serenity as "Mr. Universe") as brothers who are, respectively, an FBI agent and a "CalSci" professor of applied mathematics. Judd Hirsch is the father.

The episode we watched tonight had possibly the sexiest geek moment in all media history: Charlie passionately explains to Terry how math is the real world, using a daisy to illustrate the Fibonacci series and finishing by handing her the flower.

Somebody hose me down!

I watched one episode and enjoyed it, but we have too much else to follow these days. Maybe we'll catch it during the summer.

In the mean time, I'd like to note two things - david krumholtz has, um, blossomed. Holy fuck. From geek to sweet in no time. He looks quite hot.

Serenity. hooray. the clip we saw at whatever that con was last month was lovely. I can't wait for more!

Finally, School House Rock for grown ups! We've seen just two or three episodes so far, but so far we like what we've seen!

Yeah, it's pretty cool. I don't think it has a future unless it breaks out of its formula (you'll pardon the expression), but I'm enjoying it while it lasts. And I don't jizz over Krumholtz the way some do, but he's easy enough on the eyes.
