We had a spectacular opening night. We filled the house (there was a line at one point!) and the crowd was wonderfully responsive, laughing and sighing and picking up on a lot of the little physical bits. The cast responded in turn, pulling out all the stops. They were fantastic! And they gave me roses and one of them gave me a card that made my heart soar--said I'd renewed her faith and interest in theatre! We even made some money.

I'm hoping we can keep up anything like this kind of energy. What a splendid beginning for Theatre@First!
