MITC - Clergy Night

Spent tonight working with the Priests. Their rehearsals are the trickiest for me because--unlike the other sets of characters--they don't have much in the way of sustained scenes. Their stuff is all broken up into an exchange here, an exchange there. But they are all very patient with me as I re-block things that I blocked last week and suddenly realize that something I thought I wanted just isn't going to work in the space. The poor guys are gonna spend most of the play on their knees. But perhaps that will simply imbue their grief at the end of the play with a deep honesty.
