Jason and I just saw Spiderman 2. Maybe my expectations were set too high, but I found it kind of boring and the CGI, while fun, was disappointing. I had trouble suspending my disbelief enough to get into the plot and it just seemed to go on, and on, and on...

Ah well. I'm glad other people are enjoying it as much as they seem to be.

I'm begining to think that CGI is ruining movies.  The wonderment that I used to experience at movies is gone.  No longer do I wonder how something was done.  Now if they need to do something complicated, it's probably just CGI.  And it's not even in movies that you'd think of as special effect movies.
