and Monday, January 7th. Performances will be

Well, certainly an announcement when you have show dates and times, which si the primary purpose of the community -- to be a central location for information on all Shakespeare productions in the Boston area. Partially, we just want to make sure that most of the theater companies who perform Shakespeare are aware of the community.

The secondary purpose of the community is to be a spot for reviews of Shakespeare productions, which, of course, will be Someone Else's Job. There are several of us who do the reviews.

The tertiary purposes are to inform people of other Shakespeare-related events (poetry readings, Verdi operas, lecture series, and the like) in the Boston area. Also, people have, in the past, used it as an announcement for open auditions for Shakespeare and Shakespeare-related plays and other events.
