And, see, I probably wouldn't, because of the impossibility of knowing the massive effects of even small events. But if we had good enough modelling software, I would love to run a history wherein The Black Prince survived to be king of England.

Date: 2008-04-11 02:33 pm (UTC)Oh, I don't know. I've been thinking since late 2000 that if I could go back in time, step on a butterfly, and return to the present time to find that the other guy was president, like in that Ray Bradbury story, it wouldn't be such a bad thing.
