Looking forward to the rest of the day

Y'know the old saw about eating a live frog first thing in the morning...that way nothing worse will happen to either of you for the rest of the day?

Getting up after three hours of sleep to drive through rush-hour traffic to have blood drawn seems a reasonable equivalent.

And now I'm going back to bed.

Blech. I'm not a big fan of going to the doctor first thing in the morning anyway. Though at least it sounds like they saw you promptly -- what I really hate is when you get there first thing in the morning, and they still make you wait an hour. (This would be why I really need a new GP, but haven't gotten around to it because I go to the general practitioner so rarely.)
