Rimers of Eldritch

Just got back from seeing the second night of Rimers of Eldritch* and WOW! I haven't been involved in this show, but I knew from the reading we did of it several months ago that it was a really challenging piece. It was so cool to see it come to life onstage and the cast and crew have done a really nice job with it. Some of our old hands turn in the excellent performances I have come to expect, but I was also really blown away by a couple of the newcomers. There were a couple of moments when I said "Nice!" a little too loudly, I'm afraid. And the blocking! OK, I know most of you don't care about the technical aspects of directing, but I really have to take my hat off to
desireearmfeldt here--she really knocked it out of the park.
I've got my own show up next weekend (details to follow) but I'll definitely be back for the third weekend of Rimers--I can't wait to see how the show changes after a bunch of performances.
All you locals should definitely see this. The audience size is much more limited than in our usual space and they've already sold out once.* So if you're planning to go, do make reservations.
*We were planning to see the show on opening night as volunteers, but there was a waiting list for tickets, so we ended up giving up our seats, figuring that we could come back another night. I was bummed to miss the energy of opening night, but so excited for them that they sold out!
