We have crickets inside again. This seems to happen every fall just about this time. I'm trying to focus on their potential as omens of good fortune, rather than their annoying chirp.
A mutual friend of ours, a couple years back, had just gotten rid of a few extra housemates he would rather have not had around. One of them owned a snake. She at one point bought crickets to feed the snake. Said crickets got loose, and hid in the cracks and crevices of his room for around a year.
Made me laugh whenever I went up there but I can't imagine what it'd be like to *live* with. :)
