lillibetJason and I just had a really good rehearsal. Really good. We went over the section with the Tempters and two of his major speeches with a fine-toothed comb, finding new meanings and new movements and new gestures that make the same speech richer and more robust with every repetition.
I am really proud of the work that he's putting into this. It's a very different challenge from any of the roles he's had previously and it is very gratifying to watch him carving down to the character, finding Thomas and bringing him out. I am so excited to be getting this performance from him.
