In straightening up, I found a grocery bag with four books in it: Silverlock, two Julie Garwood romance/thrillers, and Wild Animus.

Did you leave them at my house?

I'll put them in the pile of stuff for the rummage sale, unless someone claims them.

Dang. It's been like 15 or 18 years since I read that. Hell, I might catch more than half the references now. I wonder whatever became of my copy.

Don't give it back to whoever left it at your house. Read it!

Heard an interesting line on teevee the other day. Edward James Olmos character in the new Battlestar Galactica hands a book to Madam President for her to read. She says she'll get it back to him soon and he says that it's a gift. Never lend books. I think I like that, but I'm still thinking about it.

Anyway, maybe those books are a gift.
